Multistage Evaporative Cooling

AMAX Premium IDEC

The AMAX design uses an integrated cooling tower to chill water to near the ambient wet bulb temperature. The chilled water is then pumped through the indirect coil to pre-cool fresh outdoor air. This pre-cooled air then passes through direct evaporative media to supply air to the conditioned space at a temperature below the ambient wet bulb. A constant water circuit is used to transfer heat from the supply air stream to the exhaust air stream through evaporative cooling. This design supplies cooled air without excess humidity.
